Whether you're planning a major bash or a low key get-together, Fat Cat is the perfect spot for parties and events of just about any size and variety. Reservations are never required, but are accepted, for your convenience. Please read the following policies if you're considering an event at Fat Cat.

Party reservations are accepted for gaming tables only (not chess tables, booths, or general seating area). Pricing is the same as our walk-in prices:
• $3 cover per person after 6:00
• Gaming fees of 9¢/person/minute Sun-Thu, 11¢/person/min. Fri-Sat
• Individual drinks, which range from $3 to $9 each

We do not accept reservations past 8:00 on Fridays or Saturdays. Once here, you may stay as long as your heart desires, but we prefer that you begin weekend reservations at 7:30 or earlier.

Our 300-person capacity can accommodate large groups, though in an effort not to alienate regular or walk-in customers, we do not rent out the entire club for private events. We also do not offer drink specials or altered group rates. For especially large groups, we may be able to negotiate a per-head fee, but this is on a case-by-case basis.

We feature live music every night, from around 7:00 until about 5:00 AM when we close. We do not permit groups to bring in their own DJ's or bands, as the music performed at Fat Cat is the exclusive dominion of our internal booking procedures.

Other than a few snacks, we do not serve food. You may bring in outside food, provided you are NEAT, RESPONSIBLE, and CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES! If you place a delivery order, please notify the bar staff, and BE AVAILABLE TO RECEIVE IT. Fat Cat is not responsible for receiving or paying for your food, so DO NOT make an order, then disappear into the back of the club where you can't be found to pay for it. This makes everybody very unhappy.

At the time of making a reservation, we require a credit card deposit of $50 per three tables reserved. For example, a reservation of one to three tables would require a $50 deposit; four to six tables would require a $100 deposit; and so forth.

Please call the club to ask any specific questions you have, to further discuss our reservation policies, or to make a reservation. All reservations must be made over the phone or in person. Call between 2-6p.m., when the staff is available to take phone calls, rather than in the evening, when we are swamped with customers.
